63:1. When the hypocrites come to you they say, "We bear witness that you are the messenger of God."* God knows that you are His messenger, and God bears witness that the hypocrites are liars.

*63:1 The ``first pillar of Islam,'' as stated in 3:18 is to bear witness that God is the only god. But the corrupted ``Muslim'' scholars add ``Muhammad is God's messenger,'' and this violates a number of commandments (see 2:285). Verse 63:1 is the only place in the Quran where such a statement is made. Only the hypocrites make such a statement.

63:2. Under the guise of their apparent faith, they repel the people from the path of God. Miserable indeed is what they do.

63:3. This is because they believed, then disbelieved. Hence, their minds are blocked; they do not understand.

63:4. When you see them, you may be impressed by their looks. And when they speak, you may listen to their eloquence. They are like standing logs. They think that every call is intended against them. These are the real enemies; beware of them. God condemns them; they have deviated.

63:5. When they are told, "Come let the messenger of God pray for your forgiveness," they mockingly turn their heads, and you see them repel others and act arrogantly.

63:6. It is the same for them, whether you pray for their forgiveness, or not pray for their forgiveness; God will not forgive them. For God does not guide the wicked people.

*63:6 Millions of people idolize their prophets because of this myth (Appendix 8).

63:7. They are the ones who say, "Do not give any money to those who followed the messenger of God, perhaps they abandon him!" However, God possesses the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not comprehend.

63:8. They say, "If we go back to the city, the powerful therein will evict the weak (and we will be victimized)." (They should know that) all dignity belongs to God and His messenger, and the believers. However, the hypocrites do not know.

63:9. O you who believe, do not be distracted by your money and your children from remembering God. Those who do this are the losers.

63:10. You shall give from our provisions to you before death comes to you, then you say, "My Lord, if only You could delay this for a short while! I would then be charitable and join the righteous!"

63:11. God never delays the appointed time of death for any soul. God is fully Cognizant of everything you do.

63:3. இது ஏனெனில், அவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டனர், பின்னர் நம்பமறுத்து விட்டனர். எனவே, அவர்களுடைய மனங்கள் தடுக்கப்பட்டு விட்டன; அவர்கள் விளங்கிக் கொள்வதில்லை.

63:4. அவர்களை நீர் காணும் பொழுது, அவர்களுடைய தோற்றங்களால் நீர் கவரப்படக் கூடும். மேலும் அவர்கள் பேசும் பொழுது, அவர்களுடைய சொல்வன்மையை நீர் கவனத்துடன் செவியேற்கக் கூடும். அவர்கள் நிற்கின்ற மரக்கட்டைகளைப் போன்றவர்கள். ஒவ்வொரு கூச்சலும் அவர்களுக்கு எதிரான நோக்கத்தில் உள்ளதென்றே அவர்கள் நினைக்கின்றனர். இவர்கள் தான் மெய்யான விரோதிகள் ஆவர்; அவர்களைக் குறித்து எச்சரிக்கையுடன் இருப்பீராக. கடவுள் அவர்களைக் கண்டனம் செய்கின்றார்; அவர்கள் விலகிச் சென்று விட்டனர்.

63:5. "வாருங்கள், கடவுள்-ன் தூதர் உங்களுடைய பாவ மன்னிப்பிற்காகப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்யட்டும்," என அவர்களிடம் கூறப்பட்டால், பரிகாசமாகத் தங்களுடைய தலைகளை அவர்கள் திருப்பிக் கொள்கின்றனர், மேலும் அவர்கள் மற்றவர்களை விரட்டுவதையும் ஆணவத்துடன் நடந்து கொள்வதையும் நீர் காண்கின்றீர்.

63:6. அவர்களுடைய பாவமன்னிப்பிற்காக நீர் பிரார்த்தித்தாலும், அல்லது அவர்களுடைய பாவமன்னிப்பிற்காகப் பிரார்த்திக்காவிட்டாலும், அவர்களுக்கு அது சமமேயாகும்; கடவுள் அவர்களை மன்னிக்க மாட்டார். ஏனெனில் கடவுள் தீய மக்களை வழிநடத்த மாட்டார்.

*63:6 இந்தக் கட்டுக்கதையின் காரணமாகவே பல இலட்சக்கணக்கான மக்கள் தங்களுடைய நபிமார்களை இணை வழிபாடு செய்கின்றனர் (பின் இணைப்பு 8).

63:7. "கடவுள்-ன் தூதரைப் பின்பற்றியவர்களுக்குப் பணம் எதுவும் கொடுக்காதீர்கள், ஒரு வேளை அவர்கள் அவரைக் கைவிட்டு விடக்கூடும்" என்று கூறுபவர்கள் அவர்கள்தான். ஆயினும், வானங்கள் மற்றும் பூமியின் பொக்கிஷங்களைக் கடவுள்தான் வைத்திருக்கின்றார், ஆனால் இந்நயவஞ்சகர்கள் புரிந்து கொள்வதில்லை.

63:8. அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர், "நகருக்குள் நாம் திரும்பிச் சென்றால், அங்குள்ள சக்தி வாய்ந்தவர்கள் பலஹீனர்களை வெளியேற்றி விடுவார்கள் (மேலும் நாம் மோசம் போய் விடுவோம்)." கண்ணியம் அனைத்தும் கடவுள்-க்கும் அவருடைய தூதருக்கும், நம்பிக்கை யாளர்களுக்குமே உரியது (என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்). ஆயினும் இந்நயவஞ்சகர்கள் அறிந்து கொள்வதில்லை.

63:9. நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோரே உங்களைத்தான், உங்களுடைய பணத்தாலும் உங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளாலும் கடவுள்-ஐ நினைவு கூர்வதிலிருந்து கவனம் திருப்பப்பட்டு விடாதீர்கள். இதனைச் செய்பவர்கள் நஷ்டவாளிகள்ஆவார்கள்.

63:10. மரணம் உங்களிடம் வருவதற்கு முன்னர், உங்களுக்குரிய நம்முடைய வாழ்வாதாரங்களிலிருந்து நீங்கள் கொடுக்க வேண்டும், அப்போது நீங்கள், என் இரட்சகரே, சிறிதொரு காலம் மட்டும் இதனை நீர் தாமதப்படுத்தினால்! அப்போது நான் தர்மம் செய்பவனாகி மேலும் நன்னெறியாளர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து கொள்வேன்! என்று கூறுவீர்கள்.

63:11. எந்த ஓர் ஆத்மாவுக்கும் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மரணத்தின் நேரத்தைக் கடவுள் ஒருபோதும் தாமதப் படுத்துவதில்லை. நீங்கள் செய்கின்ற ஒவ்வொன்றை யும் கடவுள் முற்றிலும் நன்கறிந்தவராக இருக்கின்றார்.
