. ١:٢٩ الم
. ٢:٢٩ أَحَسِبَ النّاسُ أَن يُترَكوا أَن يَقولوا ءامَنّا وَهُم لا يُفتَنونَ
. ٣:٢٩ وَلَقَد فَتَنَّا الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم فَلَيَعلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذينَ صَدَقوا وَلَيَعلَمَنَّ الكٰذِبينَ
. ٤:٢٩ أَم حَسِبَ الَّذينَ يَعمَلونَ السَّيِّـٔاتِ أَن يَسبِقونا ساءَ ما يَحكُمونَ
. ٥:٢٩ مَن كانَ يَرجوا لِقاءَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ لَـٔاتٍ وَهُوَ السَّميعُ العَليمُ
. ٦:٢٩ وَمَن جٰهَدَ فَإِنَّما يُجٰهِدُ لِنَفسِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِىٌّ عَنِ العٰلَمينَ
. ٧:٢٩ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنهُم سَيِّـٔاتِهِم وَلَنَجزِيَنَّهُم أَحسَنَ الَّذى كانوا يَعمَلونَ
. ٨:٢٩ وَوَصَّينَا الإِنسٰنَ بِوٰلِدَيهِ حُسنًا وَإِن جٰهَداكَ لِتُشرِكَ بى ما لَيسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلمٌ فَلا تُطِعهُما إِلَىَّ مَرجِعُكُم فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ
. ٩:٢٩ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُدخِلَنَّهُم فِى الصّٰلِحينَ
. ١٠:٢٩ وَمِنَ النّاسِ مَن يَقولُ ءامَنّا بِاللَّهِ فَإِذا أوذِىَ فِى اللَّهِ جَعَلَ فِتنَةَ النّاسِ كَعَذابِ اللَّهِ وَلَئِن جاءَ نَصرٌ مِن رَبِّكَ لَيَقولُنَّ إِنّا كُنّا مَعَكُم أَوَلَيسَ اللَّهُ بِأَعلَمَ بِما فى صُدورِ العٰلَمينَ
. ١١:٢٩ وَلَيَعلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَلَيَعلَمَنَّ المُنٰفِقينَ
. ١٢:٢٩ وَقالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لِلَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اتَّبِعوا سَبيلَنا وَلنَحمِل خَطٰيٰكُم وَما هُم بِحٰمِلينَ مِن خَطٰيٰهُم مِن شَىءٍ إِنَّهُم لَكٰذِبونَ
. ١٣:٢٩ وَلَيَحمِلُنَّ أَثقالَهُم وَأَثقالًا مَعَ أَثقالِهِم وَلَيُسـَٔلُنَّ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ عَمّا كانوا يَفتَرونَ
. ١٤:٢٩ وَلَقَد أَرسَلنا نوحًا إِلىٰ قَومِهِ فَلَبِثَ فيهِم أَلفَ سَنَةٍ إِلّا خَمسينَ عامًا فَأَخَذَهُمُ الطّوفانُ وَهُم ظٰلِمونَ
. ١٥:٢٩ فَأَنجَينٰهُ وَأَصحٰبَ السَّفينَةِ وَجَعَلنٰها ءايَةً لِلعٰلَمينَ
. ١٦:٢٩ وَإِبرٰهيمَ إِذ قالَ لِقَومِهِ اعبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقوهُ ذٰلِكُم خَيرٌ لَكُم إِن كُنتُم تَعلَمونَ
. ١٧:٢٩ إِنَّما تَعبُدونَ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ أَوثٰنًا وَتَخلُقونَ إِفكًا إِنَّ الَّذينَ تَعبُدونَ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ لا يَملِكونَ لَكُم رِزقًا فَابتَغوا عِندَ اللَّهِ الرِّزقَ وَاعبُدوهُ وَاشكُروا لَهُ إِلَيهِ تُرجَعونَ
. ١٨:٢٩ وَإِن تُكَذِّبوا فَقَد كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌ مِن قَبلِكُم وَما عَلَى الرَّسولِ إِلَّا البَلٰغُ المُبينُ
. ١٩:٢٩ أَوَلَم يَرَوا كَيفَ يُبدِئُ اللَّهُ الخَلقَ ثُمَّ يُعيدُهُ إِنَّ ذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسيرٌ
. ٢٠:٢٩ قُل سيروا فِى الأَرضِ فَانظُروا كَيفَ بَدَأَ الخَلقَ ثُمَّ اللَّهُ يُنشِئُ النَّشأَةَ الـٔاخِرَةَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَىءٍ قَديرٌ
. ٢١:٢٩ يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشاءُ وَيَرحَمُ مَن يَشاءُ وَإِلَيهِ تُقلَبونَ
. ٢٢:٢٩ وَما أَنتُم بِمُعجِزينَ فِى الأَرضِ وَلا فِى السَّماءِ وَما لَكُم مِن دونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلا نَصيرٍ
. ٢٣:٢٩ وَالَّذينَ كَفَروا بِـٔايٰتِ اللَّهِ وَلِقائِهِ أُولٰئِكَ يَئِسوا مِن رَحمَتى وَأُولٰئِكَ لَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ
. ٢٤:٢٩ فَما كانَ جَوابَ قَومِهِ إِلّا أَن قالُوا اقتُلوهُ أَو حَرِّقوهُ فَأَنجىٰهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ النّارِ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَـٔايٰتٍ لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنونَ
. ٢٥:٢٩ وَقالَ إِنَّمَا اتَّخَذتُم مِن دونِ اللَّهِ أَوثٰنًا مَوَدَّةَ بَينِكُم فِى الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا ثُمَّ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ يَكفُرُ بَعضُكُم بِبَعضٍ وَيَلعَنُ بَعضُكُم بَعضًا وَمَأوىٰكُمُ النّارُ وَما لَكُم مِن نٰصِرينَ
. ٢٦:٢٩ فَـٔامَنَ لَهُ لوطٌ وَقالَ إِنّى مُهاجِرٌ إِلىٰ رَبّى إِنَّهُ هُوَ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ
. ٢٧:٢٩ وَوَهَبنا لَهُ إِسحٰقَ وَيَعقوبَ وَجَعَلنا فى ذُرِّيَّتِهِ النُّبُوَّةَ وَالكِتٰبَ وَءاتَينٰهُ أَجرَهُ فِى الدُّنيا وَإِنَّهُ فِى الـٔاخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصّٰلِحينَ
. ٢٨:٢٩ وَلوطًا إِذ قالَ لِقَومِهِ إِنَّكُم لَتَأتونَ الفٰحِشَةَ ما سَبَقَكُم بِها مِن أَحَدٍ مِنَ العٰلَمينَ
. ٢٩:٢٩ أَئِنَّكُم لَتَأتونَ الرِّجالَ وَتَقطَعونَ السَّبيلَ وَتَأتونَ فى ناديكُمُ المُنكَرَ فَما كانَ جَوابَ قَومِهِ إِلّا أَن قالُوا ائتِنا بِعَذابِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقينَ
. ٣٠:٢٩ قالَ رَبِّ انصُرنى عَلَى القَومِ المُفسِدينَ
. ٣١:٢٩ وَلَمّا جاءَت رُسُلُنا إِبرٰهيمَ بِالبُشرىٰ قالوا إِنّا مُهلِكوا أَهلِ هٰذِهِ القَريَةِ إِنَّ أَهلَها كانوا ظٰلِمينَ
. ٣٢:٢٩ قالَ إِنَّ فيها لوطًا قالوا نَحنُ أَعلَمُ بِمَن فيها لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُ وَأَهلَهُ إِلَّا امرَأَتَهُ كانَت مِنَ الغٰبِرينَ
. ٣٣:٢٩ وَلَمّا أَن جاءَت رُسُلُنا لوطًا سىءَ بِهِم وَضاقَ بِهِم ذَرعًا وَقالوا لا تَخَف وَلا تَحزَن إِنّا مُنَجّوكَ وَأَهلَكَ إِلَّا امرَأَتَكَ كانَت مِنَ الغٰبِرينَ
. ٣٤:٢٩ إِنّا مُنزِلونَ عَلىٰ أَهلِ هٰذِهِ القَريَةِ رِجزًا مِنَ السَّماءِ بِما كانوا يَفسُقونَ
. ٣٥:٢٩ وَلَقَد تَرَكنا مِنها ءايَةً بَيِّنَةً لِقَومٍ يَعقِلونَ
. ٣٦:٢٩ وَإِلىٰ مَديَنَ أَخاهُم شُعَيبًا فَقالَ يٰقَومِ اعبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَارجُوا اليَومَ الـٔاخِرَ وَلا تَعثَوا فِى الأَرضِ مُفسِدينَ
. ٣٧:٢٩ فَكَذَّبوهُ فَأَخَذَتهُمُ الرَّجفَةُ فَأَصبَحوا فى دارِهِم جٰثِمينَ
. ٣٨:٢٩ وَعادًا وَثَمودَا۟ وَقَد تَبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِن مَسٰكِنِهِم وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيطٰنُ أَعمٰلَهُم فَصَدَّهُم عَنِ السَّبيلِ وَكانوا مُستَبصِرينَ
. ٣٩:٢٩ وَقٰرونَ وَفِرعَونَ وَهٰمٰنَ وَلَقَد جاءَهُم موسىٰ بِالبَيِّنٰتِ فَاستَكبَروا فِى الأَرضِ وَما كانوا سٰبِقينَ
. ٤٠:٢٩ فَكُلًّا أَخَذنا بِذَنبِهِ فَمِنهُم مَن أَرسَلنا عَلَيهِ حاصِبًا وَمِنهُم مَن أَخَذَتهُ الصَّيحَةُ وَمِنهُم مَن خَسَفنا بِهِ الأَرضَ وَمِنهُم مَن أَغرَقنا وَما كانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظلِمَهُم وَلٰكِن كانوا أَنفُسَهُم يَظلِمونَ
. ٤١:٢٩ مَثَلُ الَّذينَ اتَّخَذوا مِن دونِ اللَّهِ أَولِياءَ كَمَثَلِ العَنكَبوتِ اتَّخَذَت بَيتًا وَإِنَّ أَوهَنَ البُيوتِ لَبَيتُ العَنكَبوتِ لَو كانوا يَعلَمونَ
. ٤٢:٢٩ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعلَمُ ما يَدعونَ مِن دونِهِ مِن شَىءٍ وَهُوَ العَزيزُ الحَكيمُ
. ٤٣:٢٩ وَتِلكَ الأَمثٰلُ نَضرِبُها لِلنّاسِ وَما يَعقِلُها إِلَّا العٰلِمونَ
. ٤٤:٢٩ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ بِالحَقِّ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَـٔايَةً لِلمُؤمِنينَ
. ٤٥:٢٩ اتلُ ما أوحِىَ إِلَيكَ مِنَ الكِتٰبِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلوٰةَ إِنَّ الصَّلوٰةَ تَنهىٰ عَنِ الفَحشاءِ وَالمُنكَرِ وَلَذِكرُ اللَّهِ أَكبَرُ وَاللَّهُ يَعلَمُ ما تَصنَعونَ
. ٤٦:٢٩ وَلا تُجٰدِلوا أَهلَ الكِتٰبِ إِلّا بِالَّتى هِىَ أَحسَنُ إِلَّا الَّذينَ ظَلَموا مِنهُم وَقولوا ءامَنّا بِالَّذى أُنزِلَ إِلَينا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيكُم وَإِلٰهُنا وَإِلٰهُكُم وٰحِدٌ وَنَحنُ لَهُ مُسلِمونَ
. ٤٧:٢٩ وَكَذٰلِكَ أَنزَلنا إِلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ فَالَّذينَ ءاتَينٰهُمُ الكِتٰبَ يُؤمِنونَ بِهِ وَمِن هٰؤُلاءِ مَن يُؤمِنُ بِهِ وَما يَجحَدُ بِـٔايٰتِنا إِلَّا الكٰفِرونَ
. ٤٨:٢٩ وَما كُنتَ تَتلوا مِن قَبلِهِ مِن كِتٰبٍ وَلا تَخُطُّهُ بِيَمينِكَ إِذًا لَارتابَ المُبطِلونَ
. ٤٩:٢٩ بَل هُوَ ءايٰتٌ بَيِّنٰتٌ فى صُدورِ الَّذينَ أوتُوا العِلمَ وَما يَجحَدُ بِـٔايٰتِنا إِلَّا الظّٰلِمونَ
. ٥٠:٢٩ وَقالوا لَولا أُنزِلَ عَلَيهِ ءايٰتٌ مِن رَبِّهِ قُل إِنَّمَا الـٔايٰتُ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّما أَنا۠ نَذيرٌ مُبينٌ
. ٥١:٢٩ أَوَلَم يَكفِهِم أَنّا أَنزَلنا عَلَيكَ الكِتٰبَ يُتلىٰ عَلَيهِم إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَرَحمَةً وَذِكرىٰ لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنونَ
. ٥٢:٢٩ قُل كَفىٰ بِاللَّهِ بَينى وَبَينَكُم شَهيدًا يَعلَمُ ما فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا بِالبٰطِلِ وَكَفَروا بِاللَّهِ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الخٰسِرونَ
. ٥٣:٢٩ وَيَستَعجِلونَكَ بِالعَذابِ وَلَولا أَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى لَجاءَهُمُ العَذابُ وَلَيَأتِيَنَّهُم بَغتَةً وَهُم لا يَشعُرونَ
. ٥٤:٢٩ يَستَعجِلونَكَ بِالعَذابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحيطَةٌ بِالكٰفِرينَ
. ٥٥:٢٩ يَومَ يَغشىٰهُمُ العَذابُ مِن فَوقِهِم وَمِن تَحتِ أَرجُلِهِم وَيَقولُ ذوقوا ما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ
. ٥٦:٢٩ يٰعِبادِىَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا إِنَّ أَرضى وٰسِعَةٌ فَإِيّٰىَ فَاعبُدونِ
. ٥٧:٢٩ كُلُّ نَفسٍ ذائِقَةُ المَوتِ ثُمَّ إِلَينا تُرجَعونَ
. ٥٨:٢٩ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِنَ الجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها نِعمَ أَجرُ العٰمِلينَ
. ٥٩:٢٩ الَّذينَ صَبَروا وَعَلىٰ رَبِّهِم يَتَوَكَّلونَ
. ٦٠:٢٩ وَكَأَيِّن مِن دابَّةٍ لا تَحمِلُ رِزقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرزُقُها وَإِيّاكُم وَهُوَ السَّميعُ العَليمُ
. ٦١:٢٩ وَلَئِن سَأَلتَهُم مَن خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمسَ وَالقَمَرَ لَيَقولُنَّ اللَّهُ فَأَنّىٰ يُؤفَكونَ
. ٦٢:٢٩ اللَّهُ يَبسُطُ الرِّزقَ لِمَن يَشاءُ مِن عِبادِهِ وَيَقدِرُ لَهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَىءٍ عَليمٌ
. ٦٣:٢٩ وَلَئِن سَأَلتَهُم مَن نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً فَأَحيا بِهِ الأَرضَ مِن بَعدِ مَوتِها لَيَقولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلِ الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ بَل أَكثَرُهُم لا يَعقِلونَ
. ٦٤:٢٩ وَما هٰذِهِ الحَيوٰةُ الدُّنيا إِلّا لَهوٌ وَلَعِبٌ وَإِنَّ الدّارَ الـٔاخِرَةَ لَهِىَ الحَيَوانُ لَو كانوا يَعلَمونَ
. ٦٥:٢٩ فَإِذا رَكِبوا فِى الفُلكِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخلِصينَ لَهُ الدّينَ فَلَمّا نَجّىٰهُم إِلَى البَرِّ إِذا هُم يُشرِكونَ
. ٦٦:٢٩ لِيَكفُروا بِما ءاتَينٰهُم وَلِيَتَمَتَّعوا فَسَوفَ يَعلَمونَ
. ٦٧:٢٩ أَوَلَم يَرَوا أَنّا جَعَلنا حَرَمًا ءامِنًا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ النّاسُ مِن حَولِهِم أَفَبِالبٰطِلِ يُؤمِنونَ وَبِنِعمَةِ اللَّهِ يَكفُرونَ
. ٦٨:٢٩ وَمَن أَظلَمُ مِمَّنِ افتَرىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَو كَذَّبَ بِالحَقِّ لَمّا جاءَهُ أَلَيسَ فى جَهَنَّمَ مَثوًى لِلكٰفِرينَ
. ٦٩:٢٩ وَالَّذينَ جٰهَدوا فينا لَنَهدِيَنَّهُم سُبُلَنا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ المُحسِنينَ

29:2. Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe," without being put to the test?
29:3. We have tested those before them, for God must distinguish those who are truthful, and He must expose the liars.
29:4. Do those who commit sins think that they can ever fool us? Wrong indeed is their judgment.
29:5. Anyone hoping to meet God, (should know that) such a meeting with God will most assuredly come to pass. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.
29:6. Those who strive, strive for their own good. God is in no need of anyone.
29:7. Those who believe and lead a righteous life, we will certainly remit their sins, and will certainly reward them generously for their righteous works.
29:8. We enjoined the human being to honor his parents. But if they try to force you to set up idols beside Me, do not obey them. To Me is your ultimate return, then I will inform you of everything you had done.
29:9. Those who believe and lead a righteous life, we will certainly admit them with the righteous.
29:10. Among the people there are those who say, "We believe in God," but as soon as they suffer any hardship because of God, they equate the people's persecution with God's retribution. But if blessings from your Lord come your way, they say, "We were with you." Is God not fully aware of the people's innermost thoughts?
29:11. God will most certainly distinguish those who believe, and He will most certainly expose the hypocrites.
29:12. Those who disbelieved said to those who believed, "If you follow our way, we will be responsible for your sins." Not true; they cannot bear any of their sins. They are liars.
29:13. In fact, they will carry their own sins, in addition to loads of other people's sins for which they were responsible. Most certainly, they will be asked on the Day of Resurrection about their false claims.
29:14. We sent Noah to his people, and he stayed with them one thousand years, less fifty.* Subsequently, they incurred the flood because of their transgressions.

29:15. We saved him and those who accompanied him in the ark, and we set it up as a lesson for all the people.
29:16. Abraham said to his people, "You shall worship God, and reverence Him. This is better for you, if you only knew.
29:17. "What you worship instead of God are powerless idols; you have invented a lie." The idols you worship beside God do not possess any provisions for you. Therefore, you shall seek provisions only from God. You shall worship Him alone, and be appreciative of Him; to Him is your ultimate return.
29:18. If you disbelieve, generations before you have also disbelieved. The sole function of the messenger is to deliver (the message).
29:19. Have they not seen how God initiates the creation, then repeats it? This is easy for God to do.

29:20. Say, "Roam the earth and find out the origin of life." For God will thus initiate the creation in the Hereafter. God is Omnipotent.

29:21. He condemns to retribution whomever He wills, and showers His mercy upon whomever He wills. Ultimately, to Him you will be turned over.
29:22. None of you can escape from these facts, on earth or in the heaven, and you have none beside God as a Lord and Master.
29:23. Those who disbelieve in God's revelations, and in meeting Him, have despaired from My mercy. They have incurred a painful retribution.
29:24. The only response from his people was their saying, "Kill him, or burn him." But God saved him from the fire. This should provide lessons for people who believe.
29:25. He said, "You worship beside God powerless idols due to peer pressure, just to preserve some friendship among you in this worldly life. But then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will disown one another, and curse one another. Your destiny is Hell, wherein you cannot help one another."
29:26. Lot believed with him and said, "I am emigrating to my Lord. He is the Almighty, the Most Wise."
29:27. We granted him Isaac and Jacob, we assigned to his descendants prophethood and the scriptures, we endowed him with his due recompense in this life, and in the Hereafter he will surely be with the righteous.
29:28. Lot said to his people, "You commit such an abomination, no one in the world has ever done it before you.
29:29. "You practice sex with the men, you commit highway robbery, and you allow all kinds of vice in your society." The only response from his people was to say, "Bring to us God's retribution, if you are truthful."
29:30. He said, "My Lord, grant me victory over these wicked people."
29:31. When our messengers went to Abraham with good news (about Isaac's birth), they also said, "We are on our way to annihilate the people of that town (Sodom), for its people have been wicked."
29:32. He said, "But Lot is living there." They said, "We are fully aware of everyone who lives in it. We will of course save him and his family, except his wife; she is doomed."
29:33. When our messengers arrived at Lot's place, they were mistreated, and he was embarrassed by their presence. But they said, "Have no fear, and do not worry. We will save you and your family, except your wife; she is doomed.
29:34. "We will pour upon the people of this town a disaster from the sky, as a consequence of their wickedness."
29:35. We left standing some of their ruins, to serve as a profound lesson for people who understand.
29:36. To Midyan we sent their brother Shu`aib. He said, "O my people, you shall worship God and seek the Last Day, and do not roam the earth corruptingly."
29:37. They disbelieved him and, consequently, the earthquake annihilated them; they were left dead in their homes by morning.
29:38. Similarly, 'Ad and Thamoud (were annihilated). This is made manifest to you through their ruins. The devil had adorned their works in their eyes, and had diverted them from the path, even though they had eyes.
29:39. Also Qãroon, Pharaoh, and Hãmãn; Moses went to them with clear signs. But they continued to commit tyranny on earth. Consequently, they could not evade (the retribution).
29:40. All those disbelievers were doomed as a consequence of their sins. Some of them we annihilated by violent winds, some were annihilated by the quake, some we caused the earth to swallow, and some we drowned. God is not the One who wronged them; it is they who wronged their own souls.
29:41. The allegory of those who accept other masters beside God is that of the spider and her home; the flimsiest of all homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew.*

29:42. God knows full well that whatever they worship besides Him are really nothing. He is the Almighty, the Most Wise.
29:43. We cite these examples for the people, and none appreciate them except the knowledgeable.*

29:44. God created the heavens and the earth, truthfully. This provides a sufficient proof for the believers.
29:45. You shall recite what is revealed to you of the scripture, and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), for the Contact Prayers prohibit evil and vice. But the remembrance of God (through Salat) is the most important objective.* God knows everything you do.
*29:45 Your god is whatever occupies your mind most of the time (see 20:14 & Appendix 27).
29:46. Do not argue with the people of the scripture (Jews, Christians, and Muslims) except in the nicest possible manner - unless they transgress - and say, "We believe in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you, and our god and your god is one and the same; to Him we are submitters."
29:47. We have revealed to you this scripture, and those whom we blessed with the previous scripture will believe in it. Also, some of your people will believe in it. Indeed, those who disregard our revelations are the real disbelievers.
29:48. You did not read the previous scriptures, nor did you write them with your hand. In that case, the rejectors would have had reason to harbor doubts.

29:49. In fact, these revelations are clear in the chests of those who possess knowledge. Only the wicked will disregard our revelations.
29:50. They said, "If only miracles* could come down to him from his Lord!" Say, "All miracles come only from God; I am no more than a manifest warner."

29:52. Say, "God suffices as a witness between me and you. He knows everything in the heavens and the earth. Surely, those who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in God are the real losers."
29:53. They challenge you to bring the retribution! If it were not for a predetermined appointment, the retribution would have come to them immediately. Certainly, it will come to them suddenly, when they least expect it.
*29:53 Anyone who dies before the age of 40 goes to Heaven, and not everyone deserves this. People sometimes lament the slowness of justice when a vicious criminal is not executed promptly. God knows who deserves Heaven (see 46:15 and Appendix 32).
29:54. They challenge you to bring retribution! Hell already surrounds the disbelievers.
29:55. The day will come when the retribution overwhelms them, from above them and from beneath their feet; He will say, "Taste the consequences of your works."
29:56. O My servants who believed, My earth is spacious, so worship Me.
29:57. Everyone will taste death, then to us you will be ultimately returned.
29:58. Those who believe and lead a righteous life, we will surely settle them in Paradise, with mansions and flowing streams. Eternally they abide therein. What a beautiful reward for the workers.
29:59. They are the ones who steadfastly persevere, and trust in their Lord.
29:60. Many a creature that does not carry its provision, God provides for it, as well as for you. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.
29:61. If you ask them, "Who created the heavens and the earth, and put the sun and the moon in your service," they will say, "God." Why then did they deviate?
29:62. God is the One who increases the provision for whomever He chooses from among His creatures, and withholds it. God is fully aware of all things.
29:63. If you ask them, "Who sends down from the sky water, to revive dead land," they will say, "God." Say, "Praise God." Most of them do not understand.
29:64. This worldly life is no more than vanity and play, while the abode of the Hereafter is the real life, if they only knew.
29:65. When they ride on a ship, they implore God, devoting their prayers to Him. But as soon as He saves them to the shore, they revert to idolatry.
29:66. Let them disbelieve in what we have given them, and let them enjoy temporarily; they will surely find out.
29:67. Have they not seen that we have established a Sacred Sanctuary that we made secure, while all around them the people are in constant danger? Would they still believe in falsehood, and reject God's blessings?
29:68. Who is more evil than one who fabricates lies and attributes them to God, or rejects the truth when it comes to him? Is Hell not a just retribution for the disbelievers?
29:69. As for those who strive in our cause, we will surely guide them in our paths. Most assuredly, God is with the pious.

29:41. கடவுள்-வுடன் வேறு எஜமானர்களை ஏற்றுக் கொள்பவர்களுக்கு உவமானமாவது, சிலந்திப் பூச்சியும் அவளுடைய வீடுமாகும்; வீடுகள் அனைத்திலும் மிகவும் பலஹீனமானது சிலந்திப் பூச்சியின் வீடே ஆகும், அவர்கள் மட்டும் அறிந்திருந்தால்.*
*29:41-43 கருப்பு விதவைச் சிலந்தி தன் ஜோடியைக் கொன்று விடுகின்றது என்பதை அறிந்து கொள்வதற்கு ஒரு மனிதர் அறிவைப் பெற்றவராக இருத்தல் வேண்டும். 29:41ல் சிலந்திப்பூச்சிக்கு பெண்பாற் சொற் குறிப்பு பயன் படுத்தப்படுவது இவ்விதத்தில் முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்ததாகும். சிலந்திப் பூச்சியின் வலை இயல்பில் மிகவும் பலஹீனமானது என்ற நிதர்சனத்திற்கும் இது மேலதிகமாகும்.
29:42. அவருடன் அவர்கள் வழிபடுகின்ற எதுவாயினும் அவை உண்மையில் ஒன்றுமேயில்லை என்பதைக் கடவுள் முற்றிலும் நன்கறிகின்றார். அவர் எல்லாம் வல்லவர், ஞானம் மிகுந்தவர்.
29:43. இந்த உதாரணங்களை நாம் மக்களுக்கு எடுத்து ரைக்கின்றோம், எனினும் அறிவுடையோரைத் தவிர* எவர் ஒருவரும் அவற்றைப் போற்றிடமாட்டார்கள்.
29:44. கடவுள் வானங்களையும் பூமியையும், சத்தியத்துடன் படைத்தார். நம்பிக்கையாளர்களுக்குப் போதுமானதொரு சான்றினை இது வழங்குகின்றது.
29:45. வேதத்தில் உமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டவற்றை நீர் ஓதி வரவேண்டும், மேலும் (ஸலாத்) தொடர்புத் தொழுகைகளைக் கடைப்பிடிப்பீராக, ஏனெனில் தொடர்புத் தொழுகைகள் தீமைகளையும் ஒழுக்கக் கேட்டையும் தடுக்கின்றன. ஆனால் (ஸலாத் மூலம்) கடவுள்-ஐ நினைவு கூர்வதே மிகவும் முக்கியமான குறிக்கோளாகும்.* நீங்கள் செய்கின்ற ஒவ்வொன்றையும் கடவுள் அறிகின்றார்.
*29:45 உங்களுடைய மனங்களை அதிகமான நேரம் ஆக்கிரமித்திருப்பது எதுவாயினும் அதுவே உங்களுடைய கடவுளாகும் (பார்க்க20:14மற்றும் பின் இணைப்பு 27).

29:47. நாம் இந்த வேதத்தை உமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தியிருக்கின்றோம், மேலும் முந்திய வேதத்தைக் கொண்டு நாம் ஆசீர்வதித்தவர்கள் இதில் நம்பிக்கை கொள்வார்கள். அத்துடன், உம்முடைய சமூகத்தாரில் சிலரும் இதில் நம்பிக்கை கொள்வார்கள். உண்மையில், நமது வெளிப்பாடுகளைப் புறக்கணிப்பவர்கள் தான் மெய்யான நம்பமறுப்பவர்கள்.
29:48. முந்திய வேதங்களை நீர் படிக்கவில்லை, அன்றி உமது கரத்தால் அவற்றை எழுதவுமில்லை. அவ்வாறு நிகழ்ந்திருந்தால், ஏற்கமறுத்தவர்கள் சந்தேகங்களைத் தாங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கக் காரணம் இருந்திருக்கக் கூடும்.
*29:48-51 குர்ஆனிலிருந்து அதன் பிரமிப்பூட்டும் கணித அற்புதத்தை 1400 ஆண்டுகள் பிரித்து வைக்க வேண்டும் என்பது ஞானம் மிகுந்தவருடைய நாட்டமாக இருந்தது. முஸ்லிம்கள் எப்படி முஹம்மதை ஒட்டு மொத்தமாக இணைவழிபாடு செய் கின்றனர் என்பதைக் காண்கையில், குர்ஆனுடைய கணித அற்புதமும் முஹம்மதின் மூலம் வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருந்தால், ஏராளமான மக்கள் அவரைக் கடவுளின் அவதாரமாகவே வழிபாடு செய்திருப்பார்கள் என்பது கண்கூடானதாகும். இப்போ துள்ளபடி, குர்ஆனுடைய மகத்தான அற்புதம் (74:30-35) கணிணி யுகம் வரை காத்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், அவருடைய உடன்படிக்கைத் தூதர் மூலமாக வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும் என்றும் கடவுள் நாடியிருந்தார் (பின் இணைப்பு 1, 2 மற்றும் 26 ஐக் காண்க).
29:49. நிதர்சனத்தில், அறிவைப் பெற்றிருப்பவர்களின் நெஞ்சங்களில் இந்த வெளிப்பாடுகள் தெளிவானதாக இருக்கின்றன. தீயவர்கள் மட்டுமே நமது வெளிப்பாடுகளை அலட்சியம் செய்வார்கள்.
29:50. அவர்கள் கூறினர், "அவருடைய இரட்சகரிடமிருந்து அற்புதங்கள்* மட்டும் அவருக்கு இறங்கி வரக் கூடுமானால்! கூறுவீராக," அற்புதங்கள் அனைத்தும் கடவுள்-யிடமிருந்து மட்டுமே வருகின்றன; நான் தெளிவானதோர் எச்சரிப்பவன் என்பதை விட அதிகமாக எதுவுமில்லை."
29:51. அவர்களுக்கு ஓதிக்காட்டப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கின்ற, இந்தப் புத்தகத்தை நாம் உமக்கு இறக்கி அனுப்பியிருப்பது போதுமானதோர் அற்புதமாக* இல்லையா? மெய்யாகவே நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட மக்களுக்கு இது ஒரு கருணையாகவும் ஒரு நினை வூட்டலாகவும் உள்ளது.
29:52. கூறும்,"எனக்கும் உங்களுக்கும் இடையில் ஒரு சாட்சியாகக் கடவுள் போதுமானவர். வானங்களி லும் பூமியிலும் உள்ள ஒவ்வொன்றையும் அவர் அறிகின்றார். நிச்சயமாக, பொய்மையின் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு, கடவுள் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ள மறுப்பவர்கள்தான் மெய்யான நஷ்டவாளிகள்."
29:53. தண்டனையைக் கொண்டு வருமாறு உம்மிடம் அவர்கள் சவால் விடுகின்றனர்! முன்னரே தீர்மானிக்கப் பட்டதொரு ஏற்பாடு என்பது இல்லாதிருந்தால், தண்டனை அவர்களிடம் உடனடியாக வந்திருக்கும்.* நிச்சயமாக, அவர்கள் அதனைச் சற்றும் எதிர்பாராத போது, அவர்களிடம் அது திடீரென வரும்.
*29:53 வயது 40ஐ அடையும் முன்னர் மரணிக்கும் எவரொருவரும் சொர்க்கம் செல்கின்றார், ஆனால் எல்லாரும் அதற்குத் தகுதியுடையவர்கள் அல்லர். துஷ்டனான குற்றவாளி ஒருவன் சரியான நேரத்தில் மரணதண்டனைக்கு உட்படுத்தபட வில்லையென்றால் சில சமயங்களில் மனிதர்கள் நீதியின் தாமதத்திற்காகப் புலம்புகின்றனர். சுவனத்திற்குத் தகுதியான வர்கள் யார் என்பதைக் கடவுள் அறிகின்றார் (பார்க்க46:15மற்றும் பின் இணைப்பு 32).
29:54. தண்டனையைக் கொண்டு வருமாறு உம்மிடம் அவர்கள் சவால் விடுகின்றனர்! நம்பமறுப்பவர்களை நரகம் ஏற்கெனவே சூழ்ந்துள்ளது.
29:55. அவர்களுக்கு மேலிருந்தும் அவர்களுடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழிருந்தும், தண்டனை அவர்களை அழுத்துகின்ற அந்நாள் வரும்; அவர் கூறுவார், உங்களுடைய காரியங்களின் விளைவுகளைச் சுவையுங்கள்.
29:56. நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட என் ஊழியர்களே, என்னுடைய பூமி விசாலமானது, எனவே என்னையே வழிபடுங்கள்.
29:57. ஒவ்வொரு ஆத்மாவும் மரணத்தைச் சுவைக்கும், பின்னர் இறுதியாக நீங்கள் நம்மிடமே திருப்பப்படுவீர்கள்.
29:58. எவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு, மேலும் நன்னெறியானதொரு வாழ்வு நடத்துகின்றனரோ, அவர்களை நிச்சயமாக நாம் மாளிகைகளும் பாயும் ஆறுகளும் கொண்ட சுவனத்தில் அமர்த்துவோம். என்றென்றும் அவர்கள் அங்கே தங்கியிருப்பார்கள். பணிபுரிவோருக்கு எத்தகையதொரு அழகிய வெகுமதி.
29:59. உறுதியோடு சகித்துக்கொண்டும், மேலும் தங்கள் இரட்சகரிடம் பொறுப்பேற்படுத்திக் கொண்டும் இருந்தவர்கள் அவர்கள்தான்.
29:60. எத்தனையோ ஒரு பிராணி தன் வாழ்வாதாரத்தைச் சுமந்து கொண்டிருக்கவில்லை, அதற்கும் அவ்வண்ணமே உங்களுக்கும், கடவுள் வழங்குகின்றார். அவர் செவியேற்பவர், எல்லாம் அறிந்தவர்.
29:61. "வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் படைத்தவரும், மேலும் சூரியனையும் சந்திரனையும் உங்களுக்குப் பணி செய்யும்படி ஆக்கியவரும் யார்," என்று அவர்களி டம் நீர் கேட்டால், அவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள், "கடவுள்." பின்னர் ஏன் அவர்கள் விலகிச் செல்கின்றார்கள்?
29:62. கடவுள்தான் தன் படைப்புக்களில் இருந்து தான் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் எவருக்கும், வாழ்வாதாரத்தினை அதிகரிப்பவரும் நிறுத்திவைப்பவரும் ஆவார். அனைத்துப் பொருட்களையும் கடவுள் முற்றிலும் அறிந்திருக்கின்றார்.
29:63. "இறந்த நிலத்தினை உயிர்ப்பிப்பதற்காக, விண்ணிலிருந்து தண்ணீரை இறக்கி அனுப்புபவர் யார்," என்று அவர்களிடம் நீர் கேட்டால், அவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள், "கடவுள்". கூறுவீராக, "கடவுள்-ஐப் புகழுங்கள். அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலானோர் புரிந்து கொள்வதில்லை.
29:64. இவ்வுலக வாழ்வு வீண்பகட்டும் விளையாட்டும் என்பதை விட அதிகம் எதுவுமில்லை, அதே சமயம் மறுவுலகின் வீடுதான் மெய்யான வாழ்வாகும், அவர்கள் மட்டும் அறிந்திருந்தால்.
29:65. அவர்கள் ஒரு கப்பலில் சவாரி செய்யும்போது, தங்களுடைய பிரார்த்தனைகளை அவருக்கே அர்ப்பணித்தவர்களாக, அவர்கள் கடவுள்-ஐ இறைஞ்சுகின்றனர். ஆனால் அவர்களை அவர் காப்பாற்றிக் கரை சேர்த்தவுடன், அவர்கள் போலித் தெய்வ வழி பாட்டிற்கு மீண்டும் திரும்பி விடுகின்றனர்.
29:66. அவர்களுக்கு நாம் கொடுத்தவற்றை அவர்கள் நம்பமறுக்கட்டும், மேலும் அவர்கள் தற்காலிகமாகச் சுகமனுபவிக்கட்டும்; அவர்கள் நிச்சயமாகக் கண்டு கொள்வார்கள்.
29:67. நம்மால் பாதுகாப்பாக ஆக்கப்பட்டதொரு புனித ஆலயத்தை நாம் நிர்மாணித்துள்ளோம் என்பதையும், அதே சமயம் அவர்களைச் சுற்றியுள்ள எல்லா மக்களும் தொடர்ந்த ஆபத்திலிருப்பதையும் அவர்கள் காணவில்லையா? அவ்வாறிருந்தும் அவர்கள் பொய்மையின் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்வதுடன், கடவுள்-ன் ஆசீர்வாதங்களை ஏற்கமறுத்தும் விடுவார்களா?
29:68. பொய்களைப் புனைந்து அவற்றைக் கடவுள் மீது சாட்டுகின்ற, அல்லது சத்தியம் அவனிடம் வரும் போது அதனை ஏற்கமறுக்கின்ற ஒருவனை விட மிகத்தீயவன் யார்? நம்பமறுப்பவர்களுக்கு நரகம் ஒரு நியாயமான தண்டனைதான் அல்லவா?
29:69. நமக்காகப் பாடுபடுவோரைப் பொறுத்தவரை, நமது பாதைகளில் நிச்சயமாக நாம் அவர்களை வழி நடத்துவோம். மிக நிச்சயமாக, கடவுள் பக்திமான்களுடன் இருக்கின்றார்.
